The Past Is Not at Rest
Felt like I took a trip to the south without ever leaving my chair.
Your words really help to describe people,scenarios and scenery well. Almost felt like I knew them.
My only "take away" is I thought as much as Leni worked for the newspaper as a reporter; Leni had some boundary issues with regards to reporting vs investigating. Like breaking into the mayors office and into the mayors desk to get the documents. But that is what made Leni who she is...meaning well.
